Henri Fennell To Conduct Workshops At Affordable Comfort, Inc. National Conference

North Thetford, VT - March 13, 2003 - Henri Fennell, President of FOAM-TECH, Inc. will conduct two workshops at the national conference of Affordable Comfort in Kansas City, MO. The national symposium being held from March 31 - April 5, 2003, is an annual training event for building professionals on technical aspects of how to remodel, repair, build, and diagnose homes. Henri Fennell will facilitate the courses "Historic and Other Really Big Homes" and "Two-Part Foam Systems and Applications."

The course - Historic and Other Really Big Homes - places a priority on building durability, increased comfort, health and safety within a cost-effective strategy. This session also deals with case studies about Victorian and other historic home upgrades from "House as a System" perspective examining the array of products and techniques that are available and the rationale in making those choices.

Two-Part Foam System and Application is a technical discussion into insulation systems, investigating different types of insulation, their performance, and how they compare to polyurethane technology.  The focus is on polyurethane foams, exploring their development and providing an opportunity to examine samples of open-cell and closed-cell urethanes.  The session also emphasizes the materials such as foam, plastics, blowing agents, and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) closed-cell urethanes.

Henri Fennell is an architect and an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in energy conservation products and services utilizing manufactured and field-installed polyurethane technologies. He is also an energy conservation consultant with 18 years of experience using infrared and other building diagnostics equipment and techniques. Henri is also an AIA certified instructor and teaches courses related to Building Envelope Theory and applications.
